The Resilience, rights and respectful relationships resources are used at I.S.P.S to maintain a culture of respect and equality across the entire school community. Respectful relationships education is a core component of the Victorian curriculum. The resources support our staff to promote and model respect, positive attitudes and behaviours. It teaches our children how to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.

The learning materials cover eight topics of Social and Emotional Learning across all levels. The explicit teaching of respectful relationships is a part of weekly classroom meetings and supports the School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) essential feature, teaching expected behaviour.

TOPIC 1- Emotional Literacy

TOPIC 2- Personal Strengths

TOPIC 3- Positive Coping

TOPIC 4- Problem Solving

TOPIC 5- Stress Management

TOPIC 6- Help Seeking
